I am currently using the callsign of GB93SWL as a temporary thing to log spots on pskreporter until I pass my foundation license. I am short wave listening in the meantime while I focus on learning morse so I can operate using CW.
The picture above is my current rig. It is a Ten-Tec Omni VI and although a bit dated in appearance, has quite an incredible receiver. I have been lucky enough to be able to get one that has been looked after and also had all of the desirable modification work already done such as the filters and Inrad mod.
I will be adding more to this section as I learn more about this hobby
Since I am unable to set up my radio here at the moment, I have been listening to a web based software defined radio here. It is a multiple band station which you can tune around on and get to most parts of the bands. It requires both Java and Javascript to be enabled in your browser.
